Children’s Ministry

When the disciples turned away children who were being brought to Jesus, he came down on them strongly and said, “Let the little children come to me,… for the Kingdom of God belongs to such as these’ (Luke 18:16).

This shows us that, not only are children equally as important to God as adults, but that children, as well as adults can only come to God by trusting in his kindness and mercy. The New Testament letters to churches assumed that congregations would include children. So then, children are considered to be a vital part of our church family here at St Andrews.

We welcome children and include them in the first part of our Sunday 9:45am gathering for families before they move on to programmes for their specific age.

These programmes are run by a dedicated team of children’s leaders who have completed the required child protection training.
